WHO ?
Dirty Freddy are a Classic Covers band from the Wolverhampton area of the West Midlands
playing a wide range of material from the 60s to present day.
Gaz and Darren formed Dirty Freddy in 2010 from the remnants of a band called Rkive,
The new band, Dirty Freddy have built quite a following performing at local venues in and
around the midlands.
Lead Singer and front man Gaz, has a big voice and vocal range compared to the likes of
Paul Rodgers (Free & Queen) Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath) and other classic rock and blues vocalists.
Gaz having a gritty element to his voice ,is very comfortable singing everything from soul,
moving ballads to high octane rock songs.
Bob Butler is a seasoned bass player with lots of experience and great vocals.
Bob is a versatile bass player and plays a classic driving bass that keeps the lower end of the
rhythm section solid and precise,
Bob has a vast musical knowledge and can handle simple bass lines with feeling but
can also turn it up to complicated and intricate Bass lines that keep the heart of the band pumping.
Drummer and youngest band member Dan Clee, Is a third generation musician from the Clee family,
Dan’s Grandfather Alan was one of the Founder members of 60`s pop band Finders Keepers,
Dan, although only a whipper snapper compared to the rest of the band, plays with the expertise of a veteran
drummer with years of experience but the enthusiasm of a teenager.
With a great range of styles from rock to pop, Dan can play it all.
Darren, Guitarist/Vocalist has over 30 years experience of the music industry
and has a vast musical knowledge,
Playing varied styles for many years, Darren is comfortable playing rock, country, punk, rock n roll soul and
reggae and everything in between.
His unique ability to change songs on the fly make for an interesting musical ride for the audience.
Dirty Freddy is a complete unit and work together to achieve a fantastic experience with our mission being
to have fun and play quality music after all dont forget music is for dancing to!!!.
All band members are equal and have equal say in what goes on within the band and their
friendship and comeraderie is what keeps it all good and shows in their performance.
Nothing is never too much trouble for the Freddy boys, if you book the boys for your party or venue
and you want a particular song, you only have to ask.
Dirty Freddy, will work along side you to give you a fantastic night of live music as they firmly believe in interacting with an audience .
